Bios

Bill was raised in Riverdale, MD and started playing bass and guitar in teen clubs in the area in 1963. He’s played in the metropolitan area with many bands almost continuously since that time. 

His main career was in IT starting in 1974 and worked at First Virginia Bank as a programmer, project leader, and applications manager, before retiring as a vice president in 2003.  He recently retired from his encore career as a music teacher at Reston Music and then Music & Arts. 

Phil has been singing in choirs since 6th grade.After earning a BFA at NYU in 1982, he worked in the advertising industry for 3 years, then turned to carpentry.  He has worked as a residential remodeler (apple house contracting) for 37 years.  He has sung with Loudoun Chorale, Shepherd University Masterworks Choral, and various church choirs. He has performed at Franklin Park Arts Center in Purcellville VA, Barns of Rose Hill in Berryville VA, and Brite Box in Winchester VA, and Lansdowne VA.
